Now is the perfect time of year to think about donating your extra building materials or gently used furniture after a remodel. You might even be able to find just what you need at a local donation center yourself. This can drastically cut down your carbon footprint, save landfill space, and save you money. 

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County ReStore

The Habitat OC ReStores accept and sell a wide variety of new and gently used building materials and furniture. The donations accepted by the Habitat OC ReStores will vary by store, but most will accept the following:

• Kitchen cabinets
• Doors and windows
• Flooring
• Unused lumber
• Lighting fixtures
• Appliances
• Furniture

Most Habitat OC ReStores also offer pickup of furniture donations, as well as other large items like appliances and building materials.

Donations are tax-deductible and the proceeds help fund the construction of affordable Habitat OC homes, helping families gain strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

There are 3 donation locations in the Orange County area:

• Anaheim ReStore: 1656 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802
• Laguna Niguel Donation Center: Federal Building 24000 Avila, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 (near Alicia Pkwy and El Lazo)
